It was the perfect day for mountain climbing. Jake was stronger and climbed rapidly. Juan, however, was getting tired and kept dragging behind Jake.

As Juan struggled to catch up, he slipped. He began sliding toward the cliff’s edge. Jake glanced around. Somehow he managed to catch Juan’s hand just before Juan would have slid over the edge.
